I will be having to put in 10 hours of community hours and i will gladly do so. I think that this is for a great cause because Michigan is in a little mud slide right now and the only way that its going to get better is if every citizen does a little. A little goes a long way. We have to be a team and not be selfish and help and look out for the ones who need our help. Helping those in need isn't about getting an A in a class or a name in a back of a book. Its about yourself and knowing that you are doing good for other people. Its the self reward rather then the reward with material goods. Material goods aren't something that you need in life to make you happy.
I am excited to do this event. Not just because its something that has to be done its something i enjoy doing. I always try to donate lose change i have in my pockets or give away clothes that don't fit me any more at a salvation army drop off. There is no point in just throwing clothes out that could help people. The world focus to much just on ones self and not on others. We have to see the big picture that we need to help out each other.
I am excited to give back to those that are in need in such a bad time in this city and all over the Nation. If every one would do just little things like donating clothes, found or even lose change the world would be a better place to help those that are in need. This is a great community involvement project and i am looking forward to it.
If you to are interested in helping out in the community here is a local soup kitchen you can get yourself involved in volunteering at.
